As the administrator your main duty is to manage the estate,
in accordance with the ‘Will’.
Duties include:
- Notify all beneficiaries
- Obtaining ‘Probate’ from the supreme court (QLD)
- Maintaining and Protecting the estate assets.
Whoever you choose to serve as your Executor:  Â
- Be sure to get their approval before naming him or her in your Will.
Once you’ve made your choice, then let him or her know where you keep all your: Â
- Important documents and financial information.
- Once the Will is established, go over your financial details with that person.
